MAGIC MUSIC EVENT
+ ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Magic Music Event grew from my love of music and from my belief that music can create a special connection between people. I wanted to convey the feeling of being completely absorbed by a melody and to remind us of the beauty and emotional power that music can bring into our lives.
At the centre of the composition, I imagine the saxophonist playing not only for the music itself, but perhaps also for someone special among the people gathered around him. The possibility that his music might be intended for a particular person adds an intimate dimension to the scene, while leaving the story open to interpretation.
Around him, everyone is attentively listening, allowing themselves to be carried away by the wonderful notes that seem to fill the space. I wanted to capture that particular moment when a group of people becomes united by the same sound and the same emotion.
The golden saxophone becomes the luminous heart of the composition, almost as if the music itself were becoming visible through color and form. The stylized figures are not individual portraits; they represent anyone who has experienced the emotion of being deeply moved by music.
Through this painting, I wanted to express my conviction that music is something wonderful: it can touch us, create connections, awaken emotions and make us feel, even for a moment, that we are sharing something beyond words.
