DAY AND NIGHT MEETING
+ ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Day and Night Meeting explores the idea of coexistence between two apparently opposite moments. I chose the meeting of day and night as a metaphor for relationships and for the different experiences that can exist together without losing their individuality.
The sun and moon become symbols of this balance, while the circular arrangement of the figures suggests continuity, sharing and human connection. The transition between warm and cool tones reinforces the feeling of moving from one state to another.
The transparency of watercolor is particularly important here. It allows colors and forms to overlap softly, creating a sense of transition rather than a clearly defined boundary.
For me, the work reflects on the way relationships can connect different perspectives and experiences, just as day gradually gives way to night.
