DIALOGUE WITHIN THE SUN
+ ABOUT THE ARTWORK
With Dialogue Within the Sun, I wanted to express the warmth and energy that we associate with the sun, not only through its light but through the many colors it can reveal. To me, the sun is never simply yellow: it can appear golden, orange, red or filled with countless subtle shades. These variations remind me of life itself, where different emotions and experiences come together.
While painting, I imagined the two figures sharing a dialogue within this warmth of color. For me, the sun becomes a space that brings people together, surrounds them and creates a feeling of closeness. It is a dialogue that does not necessarily need words, but can be felt through presence, warmth and connection.
I wanted the colors to flow into one another, as emotions and experiences do in life. The geometric forms give the composition a sense of structure, while the changing shades create movement and allow the warmth of the sun to become part of the relationship between the figures.
For me, Dialogue Within the Sun is about connection — about the warmth we can find in another person and about those moments when we feel united by something greater than ourselves.
