FLEETING MOMENT
+ ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Fleeting Moment reflects on the fragile nature of experiences that cannot be repeated. I was interested in the idea that a moment can be meaningful precisely because it is temporary and because we cannot hold on to it forever.
The figures are seen looking towards a colorful sky, creating a shared moment of observation without revealing exactly what they are contemplating. I wanted to leave this open, allowing the viewer to imagine the experience for themselves.
The transparency of watercolor supports this idea of impermanence. Colors overlap and gently dissolve into one another, creating an atmosphere that feels constantly in motion.
For me, the work is a reflection on memory and the passing of time: some moments disappear quickly, but their emotional impression can remain with us.
