IN MY MIND
+ ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This watercolor grew from my interest in the invisible world of thoughts and emotions that we carry within us. I wanted to explore how our inner experiences shape the way we connect with others and how much of our emotional world remains unspoken.
While painting, I imagined the mind as a place where different thoughts, memories and feelings can exist at the same time, sometimes overlapping and sometimes moving in different directions.
The transparency of watercolor was particularly important to me because it allowed the different elements to coexist without becoming completely defined. I wanted the composition to retain a sense of openness, leaving room for personal interpretation.
In My Mind opens a window into the relationship between our inner thoughts and the people and experiences that shape the world around us.
