SOLAR GLOW
+ ABOUT THE ARTWORK
With Solar Glow, I wanted to explore the feeling of openness and connection that can arise when two people meet and truly share a moment with one another.
While painting, I imagined the light as something that could create a space of openness between the two figures. The sunlight becomes more than a source of light: for me, it represents the energy, warmth and possibility that can emerge through human connection.
I wanted the encounter between the two figures to remain quiet and almost timeless. There is no need for words; their presence and the space between them are enough to suggest a silent dialogue.
The central light also reflects my fascination with the sun as a source of life and energy. I used the geometric structure of the composition to create a sense of balance, while allowing the softer, more organic elements to bring warmth and movement into the scene.
Solar Glow is ultimately about the moment when two people meet, remain open to one another and create, even in silence, a shared space of connection.
