A MEETING ON A SUNNY DAY
+ ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A Meeting on a Sunny Day celebrates the joy of meeting others and those simple moments when people come together and share a common experience. It was inspired by the pleasure of being outdoors together and by the sense of openness that can arise when people meet, communicate, and simply enjoy the same space.
The stylized figures represent a sense of community rather than specific individuals. Their simplified forms allow the painting to focus on the relationships between them and on the atmosphere of openness and connection.
Decorative details give each figure a sense of individuality, while the panoramic format creates a feeling of space and openness, allowing the scene to unfold as a shared experience.
