A MUSICAL MESSAGE
+ ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A Musical Message is inspired by my belief that music can communicate where words are not enough. I wanted to explore music as a universal language capable of bringing people together across different backgrounds and experiences.
The central musician and the surrounding figures create a relationship between the person expressing the music and those receiving it. The scene is therefore less about a particular performance and more about the emotional exchange that takes place between music and its listeners.
The vibrant reds, oranges, blues and greens create a lively atmosphere, while the transparent layers of watercolor allow the colors to flow into one another. Geometric forms provide structure without restricting the sense of movement.
For me, the painting is about the ability of music to cross boundaries, awaken emotions and create a shared moment between people.
