HARMONY
+ ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The luminous area at the centre of Harmony opens the composition towards the outside world, creating a sense of light, space and openness. Surrounded by closely gathered figures, it becomes a symbolic point of connection between the intimate space of the group and the world beyond it.
The figures are brought very close together, creating an atmosphere of sociability and mutual harmony. Their simplified forms and expressive details belong to my visual language, in which a few carefully placed lines can suggest emotions such as joy, affection, happiness or love.
The joyful colors and subtle variations within each painted area create a fresh and positive atmosphere. I wanted the composition to communicate the feeling that can emerge when people are comfortable in one another's presence and share the same space.
Through the balance between geometric forms, luminous color and expressive details, Harmony reflects my interest in creating paintings in which simplicity can carry a deeper emotional meaning.
