SUMMER STORY
+ ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Summer Story is about the feeling of a season rather than a particular summer event. I wanted to capture the atmosphere of openness, warmth and shared experiences that we often associate with summer.
The gathering of figures creates a sense of collective presence, while the central sun acts as a unifying element. The stars and floral motifs add a sense of imagination and playfulness, suggesting that memories of summer are often made from small, vivid impressions rather than from one single event.
Bright colors and overlapping geometric forms give the painting its rhythm. For me, the work transforms summer into a visual memory of friendship, openness and moments shared with others.
