WEAVING OF LIGHT AND COLOR
+ ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Weaving of Light and Color explores the meeting between human presence, light and forms that remain open to interpretation. At the centre of the composition, an undefined ancient-looking form becomes a symbolic element rather than a clearly recognizable object. I wanted to leave its meaning unresolved, allowing each viewer to decide what it might represent.
The figures on either side appear to enter into a silent dialogue with this central presence. Their geometric clothing, distinctive hairstyles and contrasting colors create individual identities, while their position within the composition connects them to the same visual and symbolic space.
A small yellow sun above the central form introduces a sense of light and possibility. The three-part structure, marked by soft antique-pink bands, gives the composition a sense of order while leaving the central area visually open.
For me, the painting is about the freedom to look at an image without being given a single answer. Light, color and human presence come together to create a quiet narrative in which meaning is discovered rather than explained.
